Infection Control Protocol

On September 23, 2022, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updated its COVID-19 related infection control guidelines, including the use of masks in health care facilities. Per the Maryland Dental Board of Examiners, it is every health care facility’s responsibility to follow all applicable CDC guidelines pursuant to Md. Code Ann., Health Occ. § 4-315(a)(30) and § 4-315(b)(18) respectively. We will remain abreast on the local and nationwide infection control policy and update here as needed.

Updated Guideline: “The CDC’s guidelines for enhanced respiratory protection remains in place for health care facilities, including private dental offices. This includes all dental practitioners and office staff.”

We adhere to the CDC’s COVID-19 Infection Control Guidelines with the following policy:

  • All staff must wear a mask

  • Waiting room is reserved for patients only to ensure social distancing.

  • No double booking to limit waiting room to 1-2 patients at a time.

  • Single-use patient barriers

  • OSHA and industry level disinfection/sterilization

  • Contact-free forms and payment methods
