Attention: Cigna HMO Members

We are currently no longer accepting any new patients with the Cigna HMO plans. All participation with this plan will end on November 30, 2020. We will provide emergency care for existing patients until the aforementioned date. Emergency care includes evaluation and pain management, but does not include any treatments such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, ect.

What should patients do?

Patients insured by the Cigna HMO plan should contact Cigna Member Services to assign themselves to another Primary Care Dentist. If you would like to continue care at our facility please ask about our Membership plans.

Why did you end participation?

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, participation with the Cigna HMO plan has drastically diminished due to increased costs and Cigna's below standard reimbursement. As of September 2020, only one dental practice accepts this insurance within 20 miles.

I cannot find a doctor, can I use my benefits here?

HMO dental plans have only a limited number of in-network providers. For this reason, we recommend switching to a PPO plan if possible. PPO plans allow patients to go to any provider of their choice. HMO patients that go out of network are not covered and will owe 100% of the cost of treatment.
